News: March 2025
Dear Creative C Community,
As we welcome the shift into autumn, a season of change and reflection, we invite you to embrace creativity and connection with the Creative C. Join us for Art and Soul Sessions, Drawing for Regulation, or the C-SAW Group, offering space for artistic exploration and growth.
We’re also excited to celebrate Jenny’s Art Exhibition and remind you that our Studio and Consultation Room Hire is available for your creative and professional needs.
This month’s Featured Artist, Segni Mossi, inspires us with the fusion of movement and mark-making.
Here’s to a month of creative discovery and the beauty of autumn’s colour!
Warmly,
The Creative C Team
C-SAW Feature
There’s something truly special about coming together in a space where creativity and connection intersect. Being part of this special C-SAW group is about engaging in a process that allows insight, reflection, and deep personal growth and the wisdom that can emerge from this creative exploration never ceases to amaze me. It is wonderful to see how powerful this can be when someone’s creativity is witnessed by a supportive group.
I can see that groups hold space in a way that is hard to replicate alone. There’s a magic that happens when we express ourselves, not just for our own discovery but in the presence of others who truly see and support us. As we create, we can gain new perspectives—about our art, about our lives, our challenges, and our personal narratives. I think that it’s through collaboration, accountability, and witnessing, that we start to uncover truths that may have taken longer to reveal themselves had we been working in isolation.
Much like what I wrote in The Power of Groups, when we join a creative collective, we engage with something bigger than ourselves. The C-SAW group offers an opportunity to be both deeply personal and meaningfully connected to others. It’s a space where creative play meets insight, where laughter and lightness sit alongside deep reflection, and where each person’s unique experience is honoured.
If you’re curious about the power of C-SAW and how creative groups can enrich your personal journey, I invite you to take a step into this space.
C- SAW Group
Expression of Interest to participate
C-SAW emerged out of a need to collaborate and vision with other women. Bridget, the creator, initiated the group based on 4 guiding principles which organically became known by its acronym ‘C-SAW’
C- Collaboration / Creative
S- Support
A- Accountability
W- Witnessing
C-SAW (see-saw) also suggests the deep exploratory and often hilariously funny play ground where participants can enjoy freely creating and expressing held in the safety of the group.
The group meets once a month to collaborate using creative methods to find solutions to personal & professional challenges.
Via creative methods and processes one engages in the sacredness of allowing your own experience to guide you. The group aims to support participants to trust their own experience and develop their inner listener. In witnessing, we hold and allow the other’s own journey to be as it is.
‘It has been so wonderful to witness each member creatively discover their deepest truth and then to live this out in their lives in a genuine and ongoing way. We witness each other and support each other during this process.’ - Group participant
If you have a group of associates, friends, colleagues, or connections and would like a refreshing way of connecting, perhaps you may like to C-SAW. If you feel called to share this wonderful way of gathering connect with us at info@creativec.com.au

The initial gathering will be facilitated by a previous C-SAW participant to guide you through the process.
The intention is to become a self governing group that offers an equal space to welcome the unique qualities of each person. It is important that each member takes turns to facilitate and hold sessions. Each member commits to the guiding principles of C-SAW as a way to support everyone’s self inquiry and process.

‘The eye, the mind, the soul, each has its own perspective.’
– Māori proverb
The Art and Soul group is growing interest!
Come along to experience what it is all about.
Carving out time and space to connect with your Heart & Soul through art on a regular basis can have profound benefits in all aspects of your life. For those of you who are yet to experience this soulful time we highly recommend giving yourself this time to just be, no pressure, relax, listen to soft music & create whatever is in your Heart & Soul in the moment. There's something about being in the creative studio alongside others which makes the Art & Soul time beautiful. It is a welcoming creative space to explore and share creativity in a variety of mediums. Learning about art is optional, the main purpose of the group is to make a space to explore, reflect and get in ‘the Zone’.
Explore different mediums such as watercolour, pastels, acrylics, clay, ink, collage, natural fibres and other craft materials. Session includes 2 hours of creative zone time listening to music without chit chat and an hour for self reflection, witnessing & group connection at the end with a cuppa.
Amazing for creative expression & connection, no experience necessary. A supportive group environment.
The Art and Soul Creative Sessions facilitators, Angus and Tania are both Artist with a desire to facilitate creative expression. They brings a great deal of artistic knowledge & experience along with a gentle, creative and deeply respectful presence to Creative C. Meet your new facilitators Tania and Angus.

Drawing For Regulation
Find your way out of stress and feeling overwhelmed by surrendering yourself to the process of Guided Drawing. The use of bilateral movement will support you to find your rhythm and connect to your authentic impulses to move stress and tension from your body and mind, to experience greater presence, stability and space. With drawing materials you will be guided to explore the experience of expansion and contraction, fast and slow, soft and hard gestures in your mark making and within your body. This is a wonderful method to discover and build your internal resources to experience greater capacity, resilience and understand where your choices, preferences and desire lies.

Featured Artist: Segni Mossi – Where Movement Meets Mark-Making
This month, we are excited to feature Segni Mossi, a groundbreaking research project that beautifully intertwines dance and graphic expression. Founded in 2014 by visual artist Alessandro Lumare and choreographer Simona Lobefaro, Segni Mossi creates immersive spaces where participants—both children and adults—explore the profound connection between movement and mark-making.
Through workshops and participatory performances in over 30 countries, Segni Mossi invites individuals to step beyond traditional artistic representation, embracing a nonlinear, expressive journey. By using the body as a tool for artistic exploration, the project fosters deeper self-awareness, richer interactions, and a more intuitive creative process.
Recognised by HundrED as one of the world’s most innovative education projects, Segni Mossi continues to inspire educators, dancers, and Art Therapists worldwide. Learn more about their unique approach at segnimossi.net.

Creativity Is Unique to Us All
Something I think we can all see, is that creativity is a deeply personal experience, unique to every individual. I think it flows through all aspects of life—whether it’s in the way we garden, cook, dance, practice yoga, play, interact with others, or even in how we perceive and interpret the world around us. And we know that creativity is not confined to the arts or music, it can be found in every act of imagination, in how we problem-solve, and express ourselves.
You can find this on the Creative C BLOG!
A Glimpse Into Our Upcoming Blog
Becoming the Observer in Your Art Making
Something I have recently become more aware of in my art-making practice is how I have developed the skill of being both creator and observer while I work. This shift—from simply making art to witnessing my own process—feels like an important progression, one that has opened up a deeper relationship with creativity itself.
